Marketing Greece is a not-for-profit, financially-independent, private-sector organisation founded in 2013 to brand, market and promote Greece’s mainland and island destinations and diverse array of experiences in a unique and innovative way.
Established by the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Hellenic Association of Communication Agencies, it draws on the power of collaboration in effectively promoting Greece to the world. Our main goals are to support tourism initiatives throughout Greece and state tourism policy, while demonstrating that Greece is a year-round destination.
In February 2014, Marketing Greece launched www.discovergreece.com as a comprehensive reference point for travellers, including both those who know Greece well and those who don’t.
www.DiscoverGreece.com is a destination- and experience-focused travel portal which showcases 120 destinations in five languages (English, German, French, Russian, Greek), including hidden gems and highlights that you might otherwise not find, and experiences across Greece – with more content to come. Arranged by traveller type and travel preferences, the portal offers events listings in Greece and an all-in-one booking engine for hotels and air tickets.
